			Kowloon RugbyFest 10s was conceived in March 2001 out of frustration for playing opportunities for the "boots in the bag" players over the Hong Kong Sevens week. A meeting was held with the Hong Kong RFU and RugbyFest was given it's official blessing. A date was set, advert placed as a Call To Arms, and the rest as they say is ... erm... ohh... ummm... ah yes... a blur! RugbyFest follows the abridged 10-a-side version of the hallowed game, providing a fast flowing, high scoring competition, whilst keeping the shape of more traditional matches and without being so "lung burstingly" punishing as Sevens.
