1 Oct MVision & Kowloon Community Day
Community Day

Kowloon RFC in collaboration with MVision and HandsOn Hong Kong held our first Community Day of the 2016-17 season at Renaissance College between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm on Saturday 1 of October. We invited 20 children with autism to Renaissance College and showed them Kowloon Family Love!

We hosted a community fun day for disabled youth to encourage them to enjoy themselves without having their disabilities as a boundary. In order to provide an enjoyable and comfortable environment for participants, Kowloon club members and family helped to volunteer and assist by participating within the event. It was a fun day for the children and the students of Renaissance College also particpated and got to learn about managing a community event.

29 May Kowloon RFC MVision Community Day
Volunteers from MVision and Kowloon RFC braved the heat on 29 May to bring yet another fun filled community day to share our happiness and love with underpriviliged children, by utilizing rugby as the medium in the form of games and skills at King's Park. It is a welcomed change of environment for the children being out in the open field and able to engage in physical excercise since they are usually indoors most of the time. Kowloon players from the various rugby and netball divisions, along with volunteers from our sponsors MVision, converged as one body to host the community initiative. We were also joined by our latest 2 members Chloe and .
Through our community activities, we hope to impact those in society who are less fortunate than us with hope, compassion and care. It is a great opportunity to give back to our great society, which makes Hong Kong special.
Once again a great big Thank You very much to MVision for their continued support of our initiatives and for making this happen!

13 Mar Kowloon RFC MVision Community Day
Once again MVision, HandsOn HK and KRFC had another Community Day on 13 March 2016, this time with Mark McMillan leading a group of underprivileged children on a fun session of exercise and rugby. Our players from both the Rugby Section, Netball Section, as well as our friends, volunteers and Sponsors were there to support and cheer the children on. We played various games designed to show the children a fun time whilst learning some basic rugby and coordination skills like passing and throwing a rugby ball. We also had a tug of war which left smiles on every one's faces with the children eager to meet again. There is nothing more satisfying that seeing children do what they should be doing... having fun, smiling and laughing.
Thanks to our sponsors MVision for supporting Kowloon RFC in the cause and for all the friends and volunteers who showed up on Sunday to support!!

The Team with the Principal

On 21st Dec, 2015 our Club Chairman Jason Conlin (JC) together with players from the Premiership Team, Family and Friends representing Kowloon RFC visited a local special needs school to share the Christmas joy, hand out gifts and their love of Rugby with underprivileged children. The children were very responsive and eager to meet and interact with us. Together we sang Christmas songs and danced with joy. At the end of our visit, the school awarded Kowloon RFC with a pendant as a symbol of their appreciation for remembering them over Christmas. It was a meaningful morning spent giving back to the community and impacting these Children who know us as the Kowloon RFC Team
