MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT: KOWLOON RAYS RUGBY

 

PART I: PRELIMINARY

 

1. Definitions and Interpretation

      1.1.   In this Agreement, unless the context otherwise requires—

           1.1.1.   "Club" means Kowloon Rugby Club Limited (KRC);

           1.1.2.    "Team” means Kowloon Rays Rugby (KRR);

           1.1.3.    "Member" means the individual whose details are set out in the Registration Form and who has.                                been accepted into the Kowloon Rays Rugby programme;

           1.1.4.   "Programme" means the domestic helper touch rugby development initiative managed by Kowloon                        Cares;

           1.1.5.   "Season" means the period of rugby activities as defined by the Club and Rugby for Good                                     1.2.   References to the singular include the plural and vice versa.

     1.3.   This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

 

PART II: MEMBER OBLIGATIONS AND CONDUCT

 

1.   Reputation and Representation

     1.1.   Members shall act in a manner that upholds the reputation of the Club, its sponsors, and the RFG initiative.

     1.2.   Members shall refrain from any conduct or communication, including statements placed on uniforms or social media, that may damage the name of the Club, the Team, or its partners.

 

PART III: DISCRETION OF THE TEAM

 

1. ​Game Time

    1.1.   Members acknowledge that extended absences may result in reduced game time or restricted access to kit, tickets, or tournament opportunities.

 

PART IV: INDEMNITY AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

1.   Exclusion of Liability​

    1.1.   The Member acknowledges that participation in rugby involves inherent risks of physical injury.

    1.2.   The Member participates at their own risk.

    1.3.   To the maximum extent permissible by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Club, its directors, officers, employees and volunteers exclude all liability for any injury, loss, or damage suffered by a Member arising from their participation in the Programme.

    1.4.    By executing this Agreement, the Member agrees not to bring any legal claim or proceeding against the Club, the Team, or its representatives in relation to such excluded matters.

 

PART V: DECLARATION

1.   Execution

    1.1.   I, the undersigned, confirm that I have read and understood the terms of this Membership Agreement.

    1.2.  I agree to be bound by these terms to ensure the growth and well-being of the Kowloon Rays Rugby community.
