Kowloon are thrilled to announce the success of our recent Tony Ho summer tour!
After a 5 year hiatus, 6 boys from Kowloon and 2 from our good friends at Operation Breakthrough traveled to Derbyshire England to take part in the 2024 Tony Ho summer camp at Mount St Mary’s College. They were accompanied by William and Thomas Ho who were making a return visit to the camp first as players in 2017 and 2018 and now as coaches. As well as our own premiership player Elliott Quinton.
The group had a jam packed week of training and using the schools first class sports facilities.
They also went on trips to York, Rother Valley Country Park, Meadowhall shopping centre and capped the week off by visiting Armthorpe Road to watch championships side Doncaster Knights play their first pre season fixture.
In all, the group had an amazing time and made memories that will most definitely last a lifetime!
Kowloon Rugby Club would like to say a huge thank you to our sponsors DLA piper, DAC, DHL and Rentokil Initial for all your support to allow this tour to happen!
We would also like to thank our hosts Mount St Mary’s College and in particular Head of Sport, Christian Head.
And finally a massive thank you to the 9 dragons and Kowloon Cares for all your support and organisation.
